A mysterious creature – half bat/half boy – is discovered in a West Virginia cave. Soon this hybrid finds himself under the care of the town veterinarian, and soon becomes part of the family, if you will. The town is in an uproar about this weird thing roaming around the neighborhood. Under the influence of his new human environment, Bat-boy realizes he is somewhat different, though he becomes more human each day.
