A local security guard gets caught up in a murder investigation. He finds that his supervisor must bear witness to his troubled brother, and the investigating officer, an attractive young woman, must confront certain issues involving her second partner. The scenario puts a strain on the loyalties of everyone. But it seems perhaps the “smaller people” in society are the more noble among us.
