Stomp
Orpheum Theatre
126 Second Ave
New York, NY 10003
'Stomp' is an unusual musical, with cast members using every-day objects like trash cans, broom sticks, and wash basins to fill the air with undulating rhythms and unique percussive sounds. Although the production is a Broadway one-of-a-kind, one might easily find such performances on any given New York City street corner. But “Stomp” is different, you see, as you are afforded a comfortable seat (which you pay handsomely for) and don’t need to worry too much about pick-pockets.
