Based on the acclaimed British film of the same name, “The Full Monty” is an intensely comedic and dramatic story of a bunch of middle-aged men, all unemployed, who come up with the idea to put on a strip show starring their out-of-shape selves in order to raise a little money. The humor, self-consciousness, legal matters, and absurdity mix very well to create a riveting tale about a few average-looking fellows who perform for just one night, undressing to the full monty.
